A Rainy Frog Fest How Was The Show? (9/1/2008) I think we’ve finally dried out, having gotten drenched off and on all day at Frog Fest 2008. Bummer that Gustav had to have his say on what was overall a very nice day, but that’s the breaks living in Florida during Hurricane season. Fortunately there were a few hundred hard core music fans braving the weather and 10+ bands determined to play come hell or high water. 4/20/2009 Thanks and the Weszt Timeline Project Last Saturday night was the final show as Weszt, at least the Weszt we've all come to know and love over the last few years. The event was bittersweet. We laughed, rocked, and cried; without a doubt we'll be missed and we'll miss all of you. As a tribute to all the friends we've made during our time in Orlando, we're starting the Weszt Timeline Project, which will illustrate the history of the band from the recording of our 2003 release, Darkness Shines, until the present. Please feel free to contribute by sending your stories, photos, videos, etc, to weszt@weszt.com. We'll keep you posted!
4/14/2009 Farewell Show After 11 years in the Orlando area, I, Weszt, lead singer of the band, am moving to the West Coast and unfortunately this means the end of the band as we know it. The band's farewell show will be this Saturday at The Haven in Winter Park.On behalf of the guys, I'd like to extend our deepest love and thanks to those who have followed us over the years. We will miss you all dearly and I will miss Bobby and Michael most of all. Attempts have been made to secure at least one more performance, but with this change happening so suddenly, there is little time left and the odds are against us. Instead, we're organizing a party or two; details to follow. Rest assured that my musical journey is not ending here. The pace that the band had been keeping for the last six years has taken its toll on me in the form of writers fatigue but now I'll have my chance to get away. Once I'm recording and performing again, Weszt.com will let you know and I'll do my best to keep you up to date on everything that Bobby, Michael, and Rizzo are up to till then and beyond. 3/17/2009 Back on Stage in Tampa and Orlando After a few weeks of decompression, we're gearing up for some Spring shows. Though we weren't intending to be back on stage so soon (years of steady weekly gigging have left us a little tired), we couldn't turn down the chance to perform with Atom Smash at The Haven (Orlando/Winter Park) and Mr. Bella and Uncrowned (Tampa). Weszt (solo) can also be seen doing an acoustic set with Donovan (Blue Meridian) and Chris D'Agnese this Sunday at Central Station Rock Bar (downtown Orlando). Back on Stage in Tampa and Orlando

After a few weeks of decompression, we're gearing up for some Spring shows.
